A clinic that tells you what not to have

People & Skin is a doctor-led med-aesthetic clinic at 58 Cathedral Street, Sliema. Nine people work here. Four of them are licensed physicians and they are the only ones who hold a needle or a laser.

Part of what you are paying for is being told that a treatment is wrong for you. Everything on this site that reads like a warning is reproduced word for word from the clinic's own records.

    Laser removes hair on anyone

    It does not work on white or very light hair. The laser targets pigment, so if there is none it has nothing to aim at.

    Filler is permanent

    Correction is temporary. Touch-up and repeat injections are usually needed to hold it.

    Sculptra works by prompting your own collagen, so nothing shows for six to twelve weeks.
